Keeping up with Hair by Shaunda!

Every year I try to attend as many trade shows as possible. The worst encounter I can imagine is having a customer asking me to do a cut/color technique or style with some fancy title and I'm standing there looking dumb like "duuuuuuh what's that!??". That's totally embarrassing and now my money and future client just blew into another stylist hands lol!! I will always strive to stay abreast of the fresh and new in the hair and fashion industry to prevent that from ever happening! I know there are a lot of stylist that will completely skip the process of traveling to shows and investing in their career by registering for classes at YOUTUBE university lol! Boy I truly despise youtube university! Sometimes I look at some of those videos and shake my head because I feel sorry for the stylist who is following some of the WRONG teachings from La'Quayquays' kitchen techniques. I'd rather pay to learn the proper technique,get certified, frame my certificate and hang it near my work station...(hello). With that being said, I'd like to let you guys in on the dates and locations of Trade shows I will be attending this year! Oh... If you're a stylist, try to become a member of the PBA, I get free tickets to the trade shows and big discounts,plus tips from other beauty professionals on just about anything within the industry.
