No more stinky weave tips!!

Heyyyy girlz!!! How you doin' (Wendy Williams voice) lol! K.... Let's get to the problem at hand, shall we? SMELLY WEAVE!!!! No no and no!!!!!! Ladies, incase you didn't know, hair that smells great is just as important as having hair that looks great!! If you're not going to schedule an appointment for professional weave maintainance and you want to shampoo and condition it yourself, I will gladly do the honors of giving you full proof steps to keep your hair smelling ummmmmmm good!! (Your man does not want to spoon with you and your funky weave is beating up his nose) LOL....okay

1.)  shampoo the Jesus out of your hair! shampoo at least 2 to 3 times while showering, it makes it easier and eliminates bunching and tangling. Do not pile it on top of your head ,just let it hang so that the water runs through it.

2).CONDITION IT AND CONDITION IT AGAIN!! do not be skimpy... Pour it on heavy!! Rub it on the weft, get in there really good! Brush it through with a vent brush or tangle teezer. You can now Let it sit for about 10mins while you wash your body. Rinse for at least 3 to 4 minutes with a cooler temperature of water... Which is also good for your skin before you get out of the shower to tighten pores and prevent body acne.

3) Towel blot your hair, smooth down your edges and brush it until it's all smooth and blended, section it into four vertical parts by clipping or twisting. and sit under a hooded drier! Ladies, this is important, you cannot let your hair naturally air dry. This is weave we are taking about! This stuff will get moldy and mildew your hair and you do not want your extentions to smell like a moldy old basement (uugh). So if you haven't invested in a hooded drier ,I suggest going to your local beauty supply store and purchasing a Gold N Hot hooded drier. I think they're roughly $40.

4) After sitting under your drier for an hour or 2 (depending on how thick your hair is or how much new growth you have) while catching up on your favorite tv shows on your DVR or reading a book ,You are now ready to style your hair and it will be light ,fluffy and smell nice and fresh! ;)

In between shampoos , I like to use a hair mist to keep my hair smelling really good. Let's say you were somewhere that has a smokey atmosphere or at a BBQ etc,you can spray the mist all over and in the root area and it will knock the undesirables out of your hair! My favorite is Angel hair mist and Chanel hair mist... Chanel has a lot of different fragrances to choose from! I loooove chance by Chanel.
You can find these at sephora, ulta or online. PLEASE DO NOT USE FEBREEZE!!!!! really ladies???? Febreeze??? Your hair is not some fabric!! Lol!  Stay cute and enjoy your day!
